Roanoke's 125th Birthday Celebration
It was an honor to provide the horse-drawn carriage procession in Roanoke Virginia's 125th Birthday celebration in March of 2007. Frank was proud to escort Governor Tim Kaine, his wife Ann Holton and her father former governor Lynwood Holton. K&B provided 3 carriages, one for local officials; Roanoke's mayor, vice mayor and council members; one for State officials; and for Governor Kaine.
Work Zone Safety Awareness
Frank has friends and family who work on Virginia's highways, so he serves as the "Work Zone Safety Horse" in parades and various events to increase awareness of slowing vehicle speed in work zones so that his friends can continue to bring him love and apples.
